Project Description

We ensure our mothers and their children are getting proper nutrition by:

  • Giving out information about the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program benefits for income eligible pregnant women, mothers and their babies and young children.

  • Referring income eligible mothers for information and assistance with the SNAP application (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program formerly known as food stamps)

  • Giving out information about local food pantries, food truck dates and locations, hot meal programs and emergency food help
